বাংলাদেশের একটি ঐতিহ্যবাহী হাতে বোনা শাড়ি। শতাব্দীপ্রাচীন এই শিল্পের উৎপত্তিস্থল বাংলাদেশের টাঙ্গাইলে, যার নাম থেকেই শাড়ির নাম টাঙ্গাইল শাড়ি হয়েছে। টাঙ্গাইল শাড়ির সঙ্গেই এর নির্দিষ্ট ভূখণ্ড বা ভৌগোলিক অবস্থান যুক্ত।
বাংলাদেশের শিল্প মন্ত্রণালয় ২০২৪ খ্রিস্টাব্দের ৭ ফেব্রুয়ারি টাঙ্গাইলের ঐতিহ্যবাহী তাঁতের এই শাড়িকে ভৌগোলিক নির্দেশক (জিআই) পণ্য হিসেবে ঘোষণা করে।
